Butte District Camps

Klondike Derby
Friday and Saturday, February 15-16, 2010 (no school Friday)
Klonike Rush!  No hand-me-down, prebuilt sleds at this Klondike Derby. In an exciting return to the event's roots, these Scouts built their toboggans from scratch. And the race was on. (from the November-December 2009 issue of Scouting Magazine.

Camping Resources

Tour Permits
Tour Permits are needed if:
1) If you are staying overnight.
2) If your activity lasts more than 2 hours.
3) If your activity is more than 10 miles from your normal meeting place.
4) Obtain guardian permission form.
NOTE: Day Camp requires a tour permit. 1 Adult must have Current Youth Protection and Hazardous Weather Training on ALL tour permits (effective January 2009). These trainings expire every two years.
